Political Data Intelligence LLC: Political Data Intelligence LLC seeks Senior Software Engineer. Job site is located at 12501 Imperial Hwy Suite 115, Norwalk, CA 90650. The position requires bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Programming. 24 months of experience as a Software Developer or in a related field. Skills: Knowledge of mobile application development using Flutter.

This is a hybrid position, 4 days per week the employee is permitted to work from home. The employee is required to reside within the same Metropolitan Statistical Area as the worksite location.

Job Duties:

The Senior Software Engineer - Mobile Application Developer is responsible for the development, maintenance, and improvement of PDI’s mobile applications for iOS and Android. The main objective of this role includes: writing and maintaining Flutter code, ensuring compliance with platform and app store requirements, delivering bug fixes, updates, and security patches, supporting backend integration, and improving application stability, usability, and scalability. This person is expected to work closely with Senior Leadership, clients, Customer Success, backend teams, and Quality Assurance to ensure business needs and user experience goals are fully supported. They are expected to show initiative, work independently, and break complex technical work into clear and manageable steps. They should be able to manage assigned projects with limited oversight, provide clear status updates, and contribute to best practices that improve the mobile development process. They are expected to be strong critical thinkers and problem-solvers who can balance technical requirements, timelines, and user feedback to support timely delivery and continuous improvement of PDI’s mobile applications.

• Mobile application development, maintenance, updates, and security support account for approximately 50% of the role.
• Requirement gathering, collaboration, and project delivery account for approximately 20% of the role.
• Technical evaluation, scalability planning, and process improvement account for approximately 20% of the role.
• Client support and feedback analysis account for approximately 10% of the role.

Specific Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain mobile applications for iOS and Android using Flutter.
• Implement bug fixes, feature enhancements, updates, and security patches.
• Maintain app store versions and ensure continued compliance with platform standards and requirements.
• Collaborate with Senior Leadership, clients, and Customer Success to gather and refine product requirements.
• Partner with backend teams to ensure successful system integration and application performance.
• Work with quality assurance resources to support testing, defect resolution, and product stability.
• Assess the current technical environment and recommend improvements to support scale, performance, and usability.
• Research and execute enhancements that improve application intuitiveness and long-term stability.
• Support the adoption and execution of software development best practices.
• Provide post-launch support and ongoing maintenance for released applications.
• Review and analyze client and user feedback to guide future improvements.
